Omar regularly advises on bilateral and syndicated acquisition finance, private equity, real estate finance and structured finance transactions nationally, in the City of London and across Europe. Institutional clients include the Bank of Scotland, Barclays Bank, the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, Lloyds TSB, Bank of Ireland and the Close Brothers Group.
 
He has particular experience in the financial services, health, natural resources, manufacturing and media sectors. He has also advised on many project, property and construction financings, focusing on PPP/PFI, health and renewable energy projects, and on many investment and development real estate financings.

Omar has been a member of the Banking team at Osborne Clarke since 1997, was made partner in May 2001 and now leads the Banking Practice Group. He is praised for being 'the most commercial banking lawyer I have ever come across'   in the 2007 edition of Chambers, a Clients Guide to the Legal Profession.
