Greg is the national head of our private equity group and leads our corporate practice in the Thames Valley. Greg’s clients include 3i Group plc, Barclays Private Equity, LDC, ECI, MML Capital Partners, Apollo and Axon Global.

Deals that Greg has advised on include acting for LDC and management on the sale of Apollo for £410m, the £67m buy-out of Penn Pharmaceuticals for LDC, the acquisition of OneTel for Carphone Warehouse for £152m, acting for BPE and management on the sale of Recruitment Solutions Group to Hays Plc, advising 3i and management on the disposal of KBBI to Phoenix for £42m and the merger of Leasedrive and Velo involving Lyceum.  In addition, Greg has advised LDC on the £27m buyout of Davies Chartered Loss Adjusters, 3i, Baird, Credit Suisse and management on the sale of Vistorm to EDS, acted for Mezzanine Management (and separately RBS) on the £160m refinancing of BaxterStorey, advised Close and management on the secondary buyout of Killby & Gayford Group Ltd, and advised the shareholders of Rock International Holdings Limited on the sale to NBGI for £16 million.
